Where can I buy some pintle caps for 550 primaries?
Broke the two pintle caps when I pulled my primaries the other day.
Any idea where I can buy some new ones?

i think he means the injectors harness. They are much easier to break than the injectors.
You can buy them online or go to the junk yard and find a harness from another car (like a 240sx or any car that uses same harness).
If he did break the tops off the injectors just like porcheguy said u out of luck.

Pintle caps are the plastic cup shaped piece attached to the outlet end of the injectors.
I tried getting these from the dealers but were not able to. The only other source I have heard of is RC engineering. Supposedly they give you new ones (and new o-rings) when you send in yours to get it cleaned and flowed for $28.00 each. Might as well do it as the o-ring from the dealer is $10.00 each.

you can't buy them new for the primaries. mazdatrix sells them for the secondaries though. rc will machine the injectors to fit the new pintle caps. they are your best bet unless you want to by 2 new ones.

I had the same problem with mine when I replaced them. I looked for them at a junkyard, but most other cars have a square shaped cap and the fds have an oval shaped one. Does anybody know of any other cars that use the same shape harness as the fds?
