Where can I buy reman turbos?

Does anyone know where I can buy remanufactured FD twins? I found these on eBay but I am not going to trust turbos to ebay....

I gave them a call earlier today. They have a lot of different types of remanufactured parts. It doesn't seem like they specialize in anything. The turbos look good but what do I know? I tried to find more info on their company but I couldn't.

This is there website... http://www.dynatechcorp.com/ Seems kind of random for someone selling car parts.

Also, $425 for reman turbos seems a bit too cheap. Is there somewhere else I can but reman turbos?

Stock turbos are known for being terrible to rebuild. Most rebuilds end up puking oil after a few thousand miles. You NEED to have experience with rebuilding this turbo to have a chance at consistently making it last. I would not expect that from a general reman distributor.

(Heck, I've torn down several manual trannys that were rebuilt by a reman company and let me tell you they were total **** inside. I would rate FD turbo rebuilding as much harder than a manual tranny)

This seller does have a one-year guarantee, so the odds are good you'll be using it.

packaging looked good, and price is right, find out more info about the rebuilder, Interview them about balancing, tolerances and how many years they've been doing it.

I paid about $1000 for mine from B&D Fuel Injection Temple Hills, MD. 3 or 4 years 34,000 miles still going strong.

I just purchased a set from them and should receive them within a week or so. Samson really worked with me and my shipping problems. As mentioned, 1 year warrantee. What the heck!

I just went with some used low mileage 99 specs.

Let us know how those turbos work out for you!
