Where to buy intercooler cores?

i know ebay but not so sure on those. I prefer something 4.5" thick.

Are you sure about 4.5"? Are you going to have fans pulling air thru?

the apexi units are 5", greddy 3 row is 4"

it is going on a 20B with a 42R but that really shouldnt matter. I just want the best efficiency at 12psi (daily grind) and 20psi for fun.

Spearco (turbonetics) and Bell Intercoolers both have 4.5" cores.

4.5" cores will flow alot more, so you can use a shorter (fewer rows) core with efficiency.

any suggested size? bumper is a 99 spec if it matters.

Sorry, I hadn't actually taped a bigger intercooler before. That's thick than I thought.

Have you tried a place like Jeg's or Summit?

For a ported 20B SingleT? I'd say get as tall (many rows) as you can reasonably fit in the car.
