Been using the WIX filters for the last 10 years and they seem to work fine.

If you have larger arms/hands/shoulders--replacing the fuel filter in its stock location is gonna suck and you may want to find some skinny dude to put it in for you.

Ok , I tried finding the fuel filter via a local autoparts store . and they told me they dont even carry them anymore .

and I was told you could use a miata Fuel Filter .

now I tried dooing a search , and all I found was a mix of people using miatas as a weekend racecar , and dropping a rotary in a miata . I'm sure this has been covered before and I'll keep trying some other keywords to try and find the right threads . But if you're bored and dont mind answering

Can you just use one of those easily found miata filters ?
