Where to add coolant
Hello
I am a bit confused as to where i should add coolant?
I understand that there is a coolant resevoir tank and then another type of small tank with a yellow cap on it.
My coolant resevoir tank always indicates a full level.. But when i take off the yellow cap the coolant seems to be down a little in that tank/area??
Should i be pouring coolant into the yellow capped holder? or into the coolant resevoir tank?

Or is supposed to be a bit low when the car is cold and the cap off?

The "yellow-cap" area will always be a little bit low - 1/2 to 1" is OK.
As long as you can see the coolant in that opening, it is fine. Just keep the overflow tank up to the full mark, which is ~12'' down the dipstick.
If you start getting low-coolant buzzer, then you need to find out why the cooling system is not pulling the coolant back from the tank, assuming the tank stays full.
I only add coolant (rarely) to top up the overflow tank, and that's all you should have to do if the system is functioning correctly.
