Oh bullshit. My (11 year old) '94 just turned over 29K the other day. The engine bay is CLEAN, w/ all hoses and belts (still) like new, and my suspension neither squeaks nor clunks. Paint is in exceptional conditionl w/ ZERO fade. The car has ALWAYS been garaged and is detailed on a regular basis.

Why people like you pull comments out of their *** and bother to post I have no idea.

The FD will bounce around 12-17 K for awhile longer. The demand will fade. It is nothing like the Porsche 911 which is still in production with a '95 still commanding 40-50K. Of course a new Porsche which looks alot like an old Porsche costs 80-100K.
How can you even compare the market for Porsches w/ the market for FDs? Apples and oranges. Do you even know what a new Porsche goes for in comparison to what a new 3rd gen. RX-7 sold for?

No I've always looked never bought one very tempting. Just bought a bike to toy with and have been without an RX-7 since like june of 04. When I say without I mean Im not driving one there are still 4 in the driveway haha. Still have the 91 with nitrous a wrecked 87 n/a base, a gutted 85 and an 83 parts car. Also my dad has a white 90 convertable. My favorite was the 87 TII I had. T04, front mount, port, fuel, exhaust the whole works. Had no a/c, p/s, or radio. Just straight up track car but that thing moved. Fun car but I sold it and put the money as a down payment on the lexus. I pop in randomly to check on the site and see what's changed.

Flat out - cars aren't a good investment. You want investments, go buy a house and property. You want fun, buy an FD and put money into that :-D. That goes for any car really...except the extreme classics.

that guy is on crack asking 19,000 for an fd with a blown engine.
Oh and I don't know who said it but auto's are useless. A sportscar should not have an automatic. If you are going to drive it fast or mod it must be a 5-speed and I know im not alone on that one.
