Hey, if your brother has a problem, and family has had a history of standing around or covering it all up (some families think admitting it would be embarrassing), then kudos to you for standing up for yourself and making your brother accountable.

I'm not saying that's the situation here, but it happens often enough. Heck, I watch 4 year olds manipulate their parents like an orchestra this way.

On a VERY serious note there is something you and your family need to consider. If he has a mental problem and got this violent with your car, whats to say he won't turn violent on a family member or a perfect stranger??

I went to high school with a guy who was a little strange. 30 years later and his problems have gotten worse. (I think he is a little off his rocker.) From talking with a friend of mine who knows him, and his brother, this guy got fired from a job after college and never went back to work!! These folks tell me that he has a lot of anger brewing inside and yet the family has done nothing from what I can see.

If and when this guy explodes and he hurts or kills someone, who is libel?? The family?

If your brother goes off will your family be held responsible???

Strongly recommend that you and your family consider getting your brother to doctor ASAP.

 

that sounds like a shitty situation.... About the not being able to beat up older brothers... My bro is 2 years older than me, and i have been beating his *** for some time now, lol. Ive already put him through 2 walls in my house, which are now book cases. lol... Of course he is the one with the anger problem, i would never engage in a fight with my brother for no reason

There has to be some underlying reason why he did this. How does he suspect that you are "messing with him"? I don't mean to pry, but details like this are needed when you just post random vandalism pictures of your car.

I also see that you are Chinese, based off your screen name. If this is true, such an act on a family member is serious. Regardless of his actions, my personal family (also Chinese) would have sought help for a mentally ill family member, rather than throwing them in jail for felony charges. I don't think a jail sentence for a felony charge will rehabilitate your brother mentally; if anything, it will incite him further. You also seem to be pretty "over this situation" by saying that your car "looks great right now while it’s getting painted".

I am not one to question your family's logic behind throwing him in jail, as I don't have the entire story yet. Though, coming from another person with assumed Chinese family values, I really hope that something good for your family comes of this.

If he suspected that you were "messing with him". What the **** is he going to do in jail with people that are Actually "messing with him"!!

 

I'd get a mentally ill person locked up in a heartbeat if I saw evidence that he is a potential violent threat to me, my family, or my property , even if it was my brother.

Not to say that jail is the right course of action ,but he'd definetly go away somewhere.
