Wheel Size Fitment for 18-Inch Wheels on RE Amemiya GT-ADII Body Kit
Wheel Size Fitment for 18-Inch Wheels on RE Amemiya GT-ADII Body Kit
Hello, I own a 1993 FD3S RX-7 equipped with a RE Amemiya GT-AD II body kit.
I am looking to run an aggressive 18-inch wheel setup on my car, and I would like to know what kind of offsets would work best with the GT-AD II body kit without looking out of place.
Ideally, I want a setup that sits flush without using spacers, with a low offset and a full, aggressive fitment.
I would really appreciate any advice or recommendations.

Is the body kit on your car already? If it is, take the dimensions and tire diameter of what's there, including inner suspension clearance and outer fender lip clearance, and plug them into a wheel and tire size calculator. Play with the sizes and see what works. If you just want an answer because you feel entitled to it, you've provided no relevant information about your vehicle.
You can also search or look through the FD wheel fitment thread.

RE-Amemiya recommends 8.5-9J+20 for the front and 9.5-10J+20 for the rear as a starting point for the GT-AD kit.
The GT-AD II kit is a further 15 mm wider in the rear.
Here is an example of a car with the GT-AD II:

The wheel sizes are listed as 9.5J-18+38 front and 10J-18+38 rear, but it looks like you could go another inch on both axles.
Here's the GT-AD III kit with a agressive fitment. I don't know how much wider the III is than the II, though.

Front 10J-18+22, Rear:11J-18+16
The exact size you go with depends on the tires you want to use.
Edit: II and III are the same size, III just has fender vents.
