Wheel Lock!!

I have heard many different thingsabout the key and the lock. Are all the keys the same for the same year and are all the keys the same I have heard there are 10 different keys. I lost the key in the wreck so i dont have it anymore and i need to get a rim off so i can sell it! Im planinng on just using gator grips and some muscle. Is there any other way to get them off? TIA

I don't know how many different keys there are but I know there are at least 4 different ones on 93s.

Pliers won't work. Find a 12 point socket that is just slightly smaller than the outside of the lock. Hammer it over the top just enough so that it is tight. Remove with rachet/breaker bar.

It is so simple.

i hate the wheel locks...

a couple months back i was putting some new wheels on my FD, and the fuggin pattern broke out of the socket.

I called the nearest dealership and asked if i could email a picture of the pattern so they could send me a replacement key. they wouldn't tell me how many patterns there are, and they said i had to bring the car up there. "we have to match the wheel to the lock".

my question is, why would it matter what wheel you have on there? the wheel size/year made/color/brand/etc is irrelevent.

anyways, we ended up getting it to work, just hammered the pattern onto the lock, then hammered the lock socket onto the pattern. then i threw the damn cursed thing in the trash.

I took my car to the Mazda dealer. They had the keys.
