wheel hop help

ok i have almost everything you need to get rid of wheel hop or at least reduce it.

i have the nylon bushing kit and m2 traling arms and toe links and just installed a mazdaspeed ppf thinking that was the problem.

wel it hasnt fixed it. i'm thinking motor mounts is the onle thing left that could be the reason for the wheel hop. any ideas.

i had no wheel hop for a month then blew my clutch and had the clutch changed and now i have wheel hop. so thats why i changed the ppf. i cant understand why changing the clutch would make me have wheel hop. '

thanks

Changing to a new clutch means more grab and more power to the wheels. What kind and size tires are you running?

I feel you man. I think the quest for complete wheel hop elimination is near impossible in this car without changing bigger parts. We put a set of M2 trailing arms on my friend's FD and I decided they're not worth it if they're just going to transmit more noise into the chassis. I'm assuming the best way to get rid of it is to put some bigger wheels on the car and change your suspension. The stock wheels only weigh 15lbs or something, so that's probably the reason they hop so easily when the tires bite. More mass in the wheel should provide some inertial resistance to upward acceleration when the tires bite.
