Anyway right now some of the problems i posted above remain the same as i didnt even bother messing with it.

I still need to change my cat to the low mileage one i have sitting. Hopefully that will clear up some noise i been hearing at mid revs and the late late response in full boost.

Aside from that, i say i need coilovers and thats about it.

 

bad ignition breakup over 7psi
leaking oil pan gasket
PFC hot to touch after 30min drive (new problem)

 

I dont have one

Hopefully in the next 5-6 years I'll be able to afford one. I'm just a poor college student now.

 

Zero compression in the rear housing, on the other hand the front one is pretty solid...

I have yet to tear into it.

 

I have to refuel before it gets down to half a tank or else there is this horrible stench of fuel vapor after I park the car. Once I refuel it's pretty much gone.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Just in the last couple weeks if I drive during the hottest part of the day it will intermittently die if I'm idling (the RPMs drop super-low and the engine stops unless I catch it and give it a little gas before the RPMs go too low). Yesterday this happened once and I noticed that the RPMs spiked up a little before they fell almost to 0.
Anyone have any thoughts on this problem??

Turbo timer doesnt work but still counts down
Missing original key (only have spare)
one bad shock on rear hatch
both door panels are hanging on by one screw
Loosing same amount of coolant
Underside is covered in oil
bodykit is cracked
Needs to be repainted

but hey....... no big beal...

 

5th gear grinds (What a surprise! )

I've got to patch up some rust spots in the spare well

I'm still missing the drivers side knee panel (PM me if you've got one for sale )

I've got to roll my fenders! every time I go for a ride in the mountains the tires catch the lip

And the worst culprit of them all! According to Steve Kan, I'm missing 100whp due to some problems with my timing!

it runs though so im happy

recently noticed coolant leaking from somewhere. have to check for it as soon as i have time

I remember starting this thread! haha... since the start of the thread... my FD is actually really good! I replaced all bushes, PPF, clutch etc... the only real problem is jerking when deacellerating under 2000rpm, but hopefully my PFC will fix that when I install it on monday! But my only other one would have to be my studs on my rotars (where the wheels nuts attach) two are threaded - other then that, very happy

oil pan leak on mine right now...

 

when i start mine up i get a oil light and coolant light . yay . also i have no reverse and 5th grinds unless engaged slow . what did i get myself into haha. but i still love this car. she will be fixed up in a week

 

5th grinds for me too, needs to be tuned...

 

Ummm no motor... Hard to beleive its been almost a year since I drove it..

1) Left front shock needs replacement... waiting on the damper itself; other parts are in; replaced RF shock last week.

2) Weird, varying/missing idle... wrote a thread about it on this forum... no solution yet.

3) Rattle in sunroof mechanism... looks like it has to be disassembled to fix.

4) (Just fixed)... air in brake system.

 

Oh yeah, passenger window won't work either.
