Whats this wire??/ Fender Question

Whell i was changing my oil today and when i went under the car and i saw this wire hanging.. if anyone can tell what it is or what its for.. and i took off my fender vent to reput my black vent thing since it poped off when i first got the car and finnaly wanna put it back on.. and when i pulled it that metal piece fell off and can anyone tell me if its the rite way..

If the broken wire goes to the white connector than its your oil level sensor for the light on the dash.

whell my lights work fine but when i do a sharp turn my oil light does come on.. so thats what your talking about?? if so where does it go

Your oil level sensor is in the oil pan just below that wire. I can't see it in the picture but it common for the wire to break flush with the sensor. You may try to dig out the wire in the sensor and solder the wire back on but more than likely you need to replace it. You may be able to find a used one in the for sale section
