Question Whats up with the fan mod?

I was wondering if you do the fan mod and have an external switch relay to turn them off and on when you want to, do your fans come on automaticlly when it reaches a certain temp? Or do you have to manueally turn on and off the fans when you are driving.
For instance your driving and you reach max temp when fans come on, since you did the mod do you have to turn on the fans yourself or will the comp still be able to control it?
And wouldn't it be better if you leave the fan on at all times if you get the mod

Thank You,

The fans will still turn on with the switch off, it does not eliminate the fans turning on automatically. It is a good idea to have control over the fans to turn them on when you want, but having them on all the time is not a good idea.. especially when you first start it up. I would not want to make the time it takes my car to warm up and the thermostat to open to be lengthened.. getting it up to proper operating temp and keeping it there is the goal.
