As they said it will start slipping, and the "biting" point on the clutch will be further and furrther up on the pedal, and it gets kinda soft too.

When a clutch begins to slip it will always do it in the higher gears first. This is because the mechanical advantage between the clutch and drive wheels is not multiplied as it is in the lower gears. If the clutch will slip just moving the car off from a stop in first gear then you should have noticed problems much before.

To see if slip will happen put the car in a high gear (4th or 5th) while cruising at 50ish. Floor the gas (motor may bog some if your going slow; that's alright) and accelerate the car. If the RPM suddenly starts climbing and not taking the car with it, the clutch is slipping

after 2.5k rpm my car does not accelerate. i cant go above 65mph. thats why im getting a new clutch right now.

This is exactly right (as it hasn't been that long since I experience this and replaced my clutch).
