Whats a motor worth with 82k miles on it?

I might be buying a 94 rx7 soon and will be doing an LS1 swap into it, but I was just curious on how much these motors can be sold for? Also it has an automatic but I dont think anyone would buy it. Thanks guys

Maybe a grand, probably less. Look in the classifieds and see what they're selling for.

The engine is worth $1k if you plan on sending it in for a reman (i.e. the $1k is the core charge).

You'll get more money (assuming the parts are good/useable) parting it out and selling it. There are rebuilders around who will buy the parts as well as people doing their own rebuilds.

$1K wow. I would be hard pressed to pay that much for a motor with 82k miles.

it's worth it's weight in scrap aluminum,

or one hell of a paper weight.

nah, you could probably get something out of it. few hundred, like for parts, or as a core.

Once I buy the car I will try to sell it because I really have no need for it. Are you interested?

You got your answer on worth, if you want to sell it, please place an add in the classifieds sub-forum.
