Whats the middle button?

I've a 93 touring model. I figure this is the "fully loaded" model, so out of the 3 places for "buttons" in the middle console in front of the ashtray, the middle button has nothing there. Was there an option in japan for something that should have a button there?

Also, any creative uses for the button place?

Thanks!

No, the rear wiper control is on the stalk. The third switch is for the headlight washer system on Canadian models. It's blank for US spec cars.

Come to think of it, I think some Euro-spec cars also used that space for the headlight-leveling system. Can anyone back me up on that?

Indeed, uber rare headlamp leveling feature which I'd love to pick up. The Euro-spec models all had it.
