Whats the difference between the ebay FPR and $200 ones

Just curious as to what kind of differences there were in the fuel pressure regulators that can be found on ebay for about $40

Compared with the FPR's that are $200-300 from AEM, aeromotive, etc. I'm sure the is one, but I just didn't see how the ebay ones can be SO much cheaper. They do the same thing and work the same way right? Thanks for the time, Evan

Ive seen those in person, and although they work they aren't that great quality. I wouldn't use anything by sx or aeromotive on my car.

i've used a bunch of cheap and expensive ones... i've never had a fuel pressure regulator-related problem.

to say they're not as high of quality is one thing, but the ones i've used have all regulated the fuel pressure just fine, didn't leak, etc...

Leaking would be my big concern. The fuel system is one place there isn't a lot of room for error, of course if your fuel pressure suddenly drops 18psi under WOT at max boost that could be a little bad as well.
