You Da Man! It proves it can be done. You should list your mods, if any, and your maintenance regimen as a guide to others.

1985 GSL-SE driven about 100K and sold
1990 Vert bought with 85K - driven to 150K, put a new engine in and drove ~10K and wrecked
1990 GXL drove ~75K
1990 GXL drove ~20K
1993 Touring drove 6K in 2 years.

FD, FB, and vert (respectively) are my three favorite.

Total: 276,000 miles on 6 rotary engines.

1986 SE 185,000~ (original engine until I overheated it and that motivated me towards the FD)
1993 FD 261,000 (more engines than I can count on my hands).

so total miles to date 446,000 miles.

Wow, that's alot of miles.

I don't even want to think how much I spent on gas.........

my car

MY fd has 80,435 k miles, 7k of which I have put on in the past year, but on my other vehicles:

2000 Ford Explorer(new)-145k miles(all mine!)
1996 ford Econoline Van-bought w/ 23k miles in 2002, now has 167k miles
1992 Jeep Wrangler- Bought at 92k miles, now at 178k miles

in the past 5 years I have driven.......145k+144k+86k+7k

that makes 382,000 miles in the past 5 years! sadly most of those miles are work related(except for the 7),

On average(during the summer at least) I do about 400-600miles per day, during the winter its about 100miles a day. I'm so sick of driving, but not w/ the 7 for some reason!
