Combined with a lot of short and long trips I get a solid 21. I race it in 2nd gear to the speed limit verrry rarely and then I can expect 18 for a gallon or so, but it's worth it. 20$ has lasted me 130 miles on 93 so it's not really too bad. When I had a 1/4 tank of oil I got less than 15mpg tho, just an observation.
Right now my clutch is slipped a little all the time and I get 15 constantly =\
I heard someone had a tuned (with PFC) fd and got around 30.

Single turbo:
Mixed - 14-15mpg
Highway Only - 18mpg
Track - 7mpg
All driving involves at least one pull in second or third up to 70mph to get the carbon deposits out, officer.

Don't use the BS flag so quick. I averaged 27mpg hwy while driving from west Texas to sevenstock back in 94. I also had A/C on the whole time and I also had around 80k on my original engine. A stock tune and an engine that's in tip top running condition will healthy compression can get really good highway mileage. Remember there is no boosting while your cruising. The engine is in a vacuum state 99% of the time. Now in the city, I averaged 15mpg because the twin turbos spool really fast. It's really hard to stay out of boost when accelerating. Anytime you have boost, you have extra fuel being dumped in. This is how city economy goes to ****.

See some people understand how it is done.
