when talking about reliability mods, why does everyone always say "AST"? why not just remove the effing thing? There really haven't been any downsides to removing it. If you want proof, ask Damian. He removed them on his MB street FD and on his CYM track car. No problems as of yet. It's what i'm doing. Cheaper, Less hassle, no downsides... but that's just me.

i would do... plug/filter/fluid changes, ast, radiator, downpipe, boost/water guages, and if you're ok with tapping a hole i'd do water injection.

basically, do anything and everything you can do to keep your car running longer. at 37,000 miles you're already halfway to a rebuild with the stock setup. ^_^ Just a heads up!

(Here's the way I think about it.... It will be funner to drive your car with the stock suspension than to watch it sit in the driveway, broken , with nice suspension.)

Did you say sleeper? Lol i said the same thing to my friend one time and he was like dude its an RX7 its never gonna be a sleeper. And now i say the same to you. Do the reliability mods radiator, ast and so on.

upgrade your radiator, AST, make sure you have twin oil coolers and do a vacuum job.
