That biplane is anally raping my car! 
I need to get it off of there before my car contracts an RTD (Rice Transmitted Disease). What's it worth? Who makes it? How do you get rid of holes in your hatch? Keep it?
Another problem is that it rattles like a biotch. I could probably fix this by replacing the rusty screws with some nice stainless steel ones. The little L-brackets holding up the upper spoiler are also rusted. S/S screws are the only way to go. [RANT]Why the **** do people use regular steel screws, anyway? Rusted screws/ nuts/ bolts/ etc. **** me off.[/RANT] The fact that my car's suspension gives less than an inch in either direction doesn't help, either. It feels like someone replaced the shocks with dowels.

And there was one for sale on here for $150.00 the other week, but not sure the condition it was in. Can't help you on the rattling problem though.
You'd probably be best off auctioning the wing on ebay as there are far more ricers on there.

When I get home for the Summer (if I survive finals), how do check and see if it's a genuine Veilside wing or a knockoff? If I posted a pic for the knockoff hater, would he be able to tell me 
?

RE does make sideskirts like that, so could be RE's too.. The only reason I said the kit was erebuni because erebuni is the only place I know that makes a copy of RE front and sides. But maybe you guys know better..
Yah, I'd almost bet those are the erebuni copy pieces and not real Amemiya, KS, and Veilside. Every piece on that car, front, sides, wing, and hood is copied by erebuni and judging from the red painted door handle assembly, the owner has no sense of pride or respect for the car and went with the erebuni junk for the tYtE lOoK. That's my intuition, I could be wrong.

if you look carefully, you will see the car has RE Amemiya rear skirts, and they do not make knockoffs of those. so i am making an educated guess that the front bumper and side skirts are real RE too.
EDIT: ahh ****. i just checked erebuni's (shitty) site and it seems as if they do make knockoff RE rear skirts.
damn....this one is a toss up. real...fake?? i dunno. and the pic is too far away to see the quality of the fit.

after a lot of thinking and sleepless nights, i figured that a Supra would be a better choice for me. first of all, almost all the FDs are in **** poor condition, and even the ones in good condition will still need a lot of TLC in the near future. and for much less money in mods, you can make the Supra much faster than the FD. and at first, i wanted the FD because of the handling. but i thought...why? so maybe the MKIV wont as good at autocrossing as the FD, but it is just as good on a road course. the looks of the Supra still bother me a little, since i still think the front is kinda ugly, IMO...but i gotta see past the looks. also, a small and almost insignificant reason, is the reputation of the FD. the owners are getting ricier and dumber by the week, as wittnessed on this forum and in person. since the FD is so cheap now, they are getting into the hands of the wrong people. i feel the same will happen to the Supra, but not for a while since it is currently more expensive. another insignificant reason is the sound of both cars. the rotary engine with the exhaust opened up just sounds horrible, in my opinoin. the sound of the 2JZ-GTE on the other hand....
but i still have a deep love for the FD, and have devoted more than a year and a half of research and a passion for the car.

Joe, there's not a knockoff C-West front is there? I haven't seen one and that's what's on my FD. I too have the Veilside wing, and I'm assuming (hoping, at least) that it's genuine. If the guy paid $1400 for the front end I'm assuming he splurge $650 for a true Veilside. On the other hand, I think the hood is Erebuni cause I've only seen it on their site and the fit is crap.
