I starting to having this problem recently. The cooling fan will come on whenever the key is on the ON position. Even on a stone cold engine. Help me please...

there is a diagnostic wire or something that comes off one of your relays that when grounded the fans will always run. just had a look its called the TFA terminal ground it is a GREEN w/ black stripe wire that comes out of both cooling fan relay two and four. in the wiring diagrams its listed as diagnosis connector.

hope this helps,
Brad.

certainly am, im not sure which ones they are specifically (eg top front or whatever) just disconnect your negative terminal and unplug one relay at a time looking at the wires that come out from underneath each of them.

high water temps will cause the fans to run when the key is on.

then it has to be a bad sensor or relay. I would start be removing one relay at a time to see which is stock open/closed.

there is a thermosensor on the back of the thermostat housing i believe

if you still have the stock crossover pipe that runs from the turbos to the IC it is probably below that....it has a green connector and i am willing to bet that is ur problem
