Talking what u do to oil metering pump that has limitation max 300 hp??

hi i owe series 8 rx-7 and had it upgrade to single turbo, and guys please i need information about the oil metering pump , my local workshop said that series 4 has 4 oil injector and has limitation max 350 hp ...series 6-8 has 2 injector only , and has limitation max 300 hp only,so i have to mix oil in the fuel everytime i fill the gass, is it true??? so guys what do u do to your car?? im rebuilding the engine now cos i just blew up my engine for the second time !#@$$@ within 6000 km from new !#$!##$, thanx for your contribution.

All FD's had two oil injectors only. I also dont think the amount of oil that is injected is based on HP but rotational speed (RPM) mostly. Sounds like the local shop is a bit lax in their knowledge.

If the ecu is a PFC, use the DATALOGIT to up the oil feed on the TEMP vs OIL table.

The oil feed is for lubricating the apex seals. I wasn't aware there was a "horsepower limit" on that function.

premixing is a good idea. even when stock. it helps lube. the apex seals better. go to pettit racing web site and read up on PROTEK R. they will explain it.

according to pettit premixing can increase engine life by upto 30%... dammmmmmmm
