What is this tube/hose!
Yep, that's airbag wiring to the front airbag sensor. Either it's hidden or airbags have been removed.
The connector is a big orange and blue connector at the back right corner of the engine bay by the ABS pump. It connects there, runs along the right side of the car, and goes to the sensor which is right next to the hood latch.
