What are these 2 plugs?

I know this is a dumb question.

See pic...this is the back of the thermostat housing...1 is black and 1 is yellow.

The yellow one is probably supposed to be green. It's the coolant temp sensor for the ECU. I don't know what the other thing is.

If I recall correctly...

The greenish one is the water level sensor. (Oops, Jeff20B is right, that's the ECU temp sensor).
The black one is the thermoswitch (turns the radiator fans on at about 230°F).

yellow/green = engine thermo sensor - lets ecu know how warm the engine is.
black = thermo switch to control fans.

they are both clearly documented in the FSM, which is available online.

no, the level sensor is on the front side of ther thermostat housing.
