What are symtoms of a bad TPS??

My 93 FD for some reason is having the bouncing idle. It is bouncing between 1500rpm to 2100rpm. I started off by replacing the Vac lines with silocone ones and hoping that this was the problem and still same problem. So I figured maybe the Check valves were bad becuase one was cracked so I replaced all of them and still the same idle problem. I am not sure what to do. My only guess now is a TPS. So how would I know if I had a bad TPS? If I were to change it, do I need to adjust it or simply just bolt it in? Well a good friend of mine has a FD as well and he is nice enough to let me take his TPS out of his car and put it in mine to try but the only thing is that if it does require fine adjustment I wont take it out of his car becuase I dont want to make his idle all messed up. Let me know guys. Thanks in advance.

Check the voltages of the TPS and Idle Air controller to confirm... in section F of the shop manual.

If you change it, you'll need to adjust it.

Take the TB off and replace the screws with hex head bolts.

Not off hand. Just take one screw out and take it to a hardware store to get a replacement.
