what is the stock wastegate set at

Well I installed my haltech and took the car out last night to try to tune it. At full boost I was only getting 5 pounds. Well I thought the stock wastegate was set to 10 lbs so I set my boost controler to 30% to get me like 13 lbs. So can some one tell me what I did wrong or is the wastegate set lower to 10psi

Basically i beleive the stock waste gate is a 7psi actuator (i think its 7,, maybe 6),, that means if u connect a air source directly to the wastegate and raise the pressure slowly by 7psi the gate will be fully open ( ok )

Now on an RX7 the wastegate is controlled by a solenoid that taps into this line giving the ECU an electrical way of controlling the boost level ( the ECU keeps the boost at 10psi by cycling the solenoid,,, so bleeding a bit of air away from the acuator to make it open later (creating a 10psi actuator in a sort of way))

your boost controller taps into the actuator line allowing you to control the boost to your desired level,,,( if the actuator sees all boost u will have 7psi /// if your actuator sees less air then u have more) ok :-)

with no pills you should make 7psi on the stock wastegate. If your not then you have a leak in the system.
