I have alot of hissing coming from my engine bay. As well as horrible acceleration. I have 8psi at the downpipe. Is that to high? No mods on my car except a downpipe. I was told thats to high. True? thanks

 

Hmmm. I've never measured the pressure in the exhaust system but 8psi sounds really high! Check your main cat and see if it is clogged.

Hissing in the engine bay is a common symptom of a split boost hose. The most common one to split is the one coming off the y-pipe.
