KD Rotary and Power FC

Does KD use their own Datalogit to fine tune the Power FC or does the customer provide it? In other words, are they like XS in that they provide the software if you just want it fine tuned vs having the datalogging. Basically I want a reliable, well tuned car without the 3k stumble and altered fan settings. I don't plan on constantly screwing with the settings.

KDR has the datalogit software and they will tune your Power FC according to your mods. They even have a dyno there to tune it even further. I didn't bother buying a commander (it was on back order at the time) but the commanders are a pain to tune the car with - datalogit is basically like using a laptop and have access to all the cars parameters. The PFC also gets rid of the 3K stumble and the car will run smoother.

Thumbs up

I had Dave tune my Power FC a few times. He did an awesome job and I ended up getting a few compression test and my engine was the ****, until it blew. (not Dave's fault, just some *****). He also used the wideband while tuning my FD.

The commander is not for tuning. If you use it for tuning your car, you will end up with a blow engine for sure.
