If they sound like a ocean you have a boost leak, check all your couplers.

Mine are sort of a prolonged and intensifying 'whiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzz', basically a typical compressor sound, much like the jet engines on my boss's Cessna Citation.....I really, really like hearing the compressors spool ever since I put on the downpipe.

Whistle and hum at the same time, and that is what mine sound like.

Mine sound like a miniature airplane too, basically like something small spinning very fast . If you hear a whoosing sound then you have a boost leak, they used to sound like that until I had the leak fixed. I don't hear any "air rushing" type sounds, just a turbine-like sound and the sound of the engine.

I like quickly mashing the throttle and letting off when passing someone just to let them know what's up. Open atmospher BOV. Cheap, but gets the point accross.

BLAHAHA, I do that all the time as well. Its so much fun, they look over like WTF was that. The best is going through crowded areas with a bunch of people walking by as you pass them. I just let the BOV sound and see the faces immediately turn.
