I'm pretty sure it's a 9003 halogen bulb and I think you can go brighter by using the H4 halogen bulb. You can find the brighter H4 bulbs at your local motorcycle shops.

The std Bulb is a 9330(H-4) rated 45/55w

OOPS that should be 9003(H-4) 45/55w
H-4 Bulbs are avilable up to 85/120w for "offroad" and/or Motorcycle use

still semi-on topic, but is there a replacement for the actual housings we could use? Could we get the hella 6054 replacements and fit them in? they are the same thing as the sealed beams from the FCs

Just curious. i would like to improve the FD beam pattern...
