What is this sensor, and why is disconnected?

Hello, anyone Know what is this blue sensor? It was disconnected, should I connect it somewhere?

Plug for the EGR valve. Many cars don't have the sensor in the EGR valve so that connector is hanging out.

If you don't have a code, you're fine. The EGR system is worthless on the FD.
