Posi IS a limited slip. Posi, short for posi-traction, is a GM-specific brand on LSD.

Ford also has their own name... Called Trac-loc.

All in all, however, all three are still the same thing: a clutch-type LSD.

It's like a Kleenux and a facial tissue, same thing, only Kleenux (like Posi), is a brand name.
