What are the pros & cons with 3mm vs. 2mm Seals?

I am thinking about getting a street port and using 3mm seals for extra resistence to detonation then 2mm seals.

Anyone care to share some insight?

From what I hear, you'll want to go 3mm if you are planning to run a high amount of boost. I heard that if you run 3mm seals, you'll lose a little HP because of the add friction from going 3mm vs. 2mm. But the main thing is to get your Power FC tuned correctly
