What powers the ECU? Ignition Switch? Relay? Wire? ECU will not turn on! HELP!
I would like to know where the ECU get it's power. Once the ignition switch is in the ON position, the ECU should have power. This would leave me to believe that the ignition switch POWERS the ECU. Or is there another relay that will power the ECU?
If anyone has an idea, please let me know ASAP so I can get my car started.
THanks

LOL! Your funny, maybe you need to get some classes on electronics I know I want to. No, there should be a red wire on the harness that clips into the ecu that powers it. Its part of the harness, why would the ignition power it?! It just controls when to let power go to everything. The battery powers the ecu, duh.
