im using solid aluminum...vibration isnt as bad as people say it is...and it feels like your getting 100% torque transfer, no twisting. I got mine for $65 from scalliwag

 

contact broken09, im using his urathane mounts and love them. they are roughly $100

 

The engine has 2 type of engine mounts, one is metal and the other is Aluminum, but in case the aluminum is broken it can be replaced by a metal one, because both r the same when it comes to fittings.

 

isnt aluminum a type of metal? The stock mounts are rubber oil filled units with a mounting bolt that deteriorate after time.

i'm asking because i want to get the same mounts from scalliwag but not sure yet and with a solid mount like that wont the endplate of the engine crack

costs about $75 in parts and isnt much harder than just replacing them...

Oh and I did these and am very happy...Just a small amount of bass vibration between 1000-1500. Very acceptable and I hear it will only get quieter.

Yes go with rotorsports racing motor mounts. The are very good

 

I have a hks hipower exhaust...no cracking here that i have noticed.

 

I did the urathane one too per the posted link up there. I love them and for the price I pay I would do it again. BTW I have a extra set if you want let me know. They are already cut with the holes in them ready to get in.

 

I chringe evertime I look at those prices.

I had solid motor mounts. I had awful vibrations around 2k (55 mph)

so I modified some FC ones I had around and installed those.

 

just read the do it yourself thread and do it, not hard at all. Just make sure that you lift the motor up straight other wise it could be rough getting them back it. I did mine, cant remember how much it cost me but it was under $100.00

 

Damn, thats a lot of money for just motor mounts....i remember buying a set of mazdaspeeds for my FC and they were like 60 bucks.
As far as vibrations go, well i already have a diff brace so not an issue..i'll get used to it just like with the noise/vibration of the brace. Feels weiird but hooks real good!

 

didnt really look around for other urethane options, but i have the gotham mounts and i love them
