What o2 sensor

I need an o2 sensor and am trying to decide if its worth the money for oem. oem is ~150 and aftermarkets can be had for as cheap as 20 bucks.

What's the difference? What should I be looking for in a quality sensor.

I used the universal $20 o2 sensor and it worked just fine.

I'm trying the cheap one for now. I don't have a powerFC yet and figure until I start tuning the car a standard is fine.

Can anyone confirm the stock o2 was not a wideband? Was wideband o2 even available back in '94?

It is a single wire, unheated sensor (which is why the aftermarket ones are so cheap). An aftermarket sensor will be fine. Factory widebands didn't really start on cars until some late 90s models.

Yep.....you can get a BOSCH unit from AUTOZONE or O'Reilly's for about $20....I did, anyway and it works perfect.
