What are my safe boost limits

Im very new to this tuning game and have been looking through old threads but couldnt find an answer to this question- What is a safe limit that I can increase boost with a Knight Sports fuel cut defenser installed? I found info regarding stand-alone computer management and for piggy-back chips, but nothing about fuel cut defensers.

if its solely a fcd, your safe boost is at 10psi!

actually you probally can go up to 12psi but i would not recommend it. stay at 10psi and you'll be happy for a long time

Wise words there.

Your series-6 version (92-95) turbos will last around 100,oookm if kept at boost levels around 10psi.

Increase to 12psi & the reliability drops. Go to 14psi & its down further.

Use over 15psi & you can (potentially) kill them in just a few weeks or within 1000km

My advice, dont go over 12psi to maintain some element of reliability.

i don't think any jspec ecu was even programmed for more than ~10.5 psi, maybe 11. that's it, it simply isn't programmed for more. the turbo's and engine can handle more but with only a fuel cut eliminator you will blow the motor.
