Yeah, I've got those useless back seats in my JDM FD.

They're great if your passengers are amputees.

Thanks for the replies. Is there a way to get one of these seats and install them on an USDM FD? Where would one get a back seat?

Lol i know they are worthless but might save on insurance (4 seater) and also if you ever NEEDED to give someone a ride it might not be enjoyable but it would work. ( just make them sit behind the passenger lol! )

On a side note, it is unlikely that installing a back seat in a car that was never sold with a back seat in the US will lower insurance costs. Your FD is still a two-seater.

I'd rather just have them there for storage as the bins are pretty small and those seats are all but worthless for anything else because anthing over 3 feet tall is going to be cramped.

I absolutely hate them
Goes against what the car was meant to be
Strictly 2 seater !!!
PS better storage = debatable

Hey that is my old FD!

Anyway I got those seats from Jimmy's RX7 in England about 6yrs ago. The seats work well for kiddos that are 4-10 or so. They are a complete bolt in OEM parts.

people pay like 450 or 500 for a set of 99 spec tail lights...so in comparison, 900 for seats isnt bad ( considering they are most liket new or almost new and if shipped form japan thats probably 150 atleast for shipping those bulky *****)

when i was in Japan i sat in the back of an FD. there is absolutely NO WAY anyone taller that 5' could comfortably sit back there.

apparently most FD's came with rear seats in japan. we were lucky enough to get those nice lil bins over here in the US model
