Question What model Apexi coil-over is this???

Hi, I came across this guy selling his coil-over on the net, but he can not tell me what model it is except for made by Apexi. Can anyone identify what model and how good it is? I thought all Apexi coil-overs are painted red.

They are actually the Apexi T-max. They were the lower budget suspension that Apexi made a while back, they have been discontinued. I dont think you can even get them overhauled anymore, but they are a decent shock, actually i have no negative comments about them except when you adjust them they seem to get more bouncy, not stiff...

Just so there are no doubts, here is the same suspension for the GTR

Just wrong on the manufacturer. They don't appear to be adjustable for ride height, so they're likely very little different than a set of Koni yellows with some lowering springs. Nothing to get excited over, in other words.

Hi jt-imports, thanks for the info! i live in New Zealand, home of many many rotary cars
sadly over here cost for modifying cars is very high and good parts are just hard to come by (maybe only applies to FD). This person i was refering to is wrecking an ex-jap FD and is asking for NZ$1500 which is about US$1067. I also have someone offered me a set of Tein (not sure what model though) with EDFC for NZ$2000 which converts to US$1423.
Now,which is your pick?

jimlab---Actually they are, just not the screw type. Yeah pretty close though.

jeff_yeh---I would sell you mine(T-max) for cheaper then that, thats pretty pricey for those. E-mail me if your interested since im switching to something else..
