Question what might be a cause???(problem)

Ok I been having that problem for past week and still didn't figure it out. I did a 5speed conv to my rex.
I installed a 96 j-spec engine and trany(that what company told me). I used auto wirring harness.
I started it and it is fine at idle but when you floor it it only goes to 4000rpm and drops down and goes up again. I thought at first that it was secondary fuel injectors, replaced them and still same thing won't rev past 4000rpm. i have a pettit ecu on it.
map sensor is plugged in.
no more ideas. please help.
Is there anyone close in chicago that can help me.
(already booked at a-spec may 8)

unless you changed the auto wiring harness...that is your problem. As far as I know, they are slightly different.

Sounds like some kind of Rev-limiter, but the 3rd gen doesnt have one....If its not the injectors, could it be somewith dealing with the Secondary turbo controls?

and yeah, i would think using a auto harness on a standard engine might cause problems
