Question what is the maximum rpm your car can support?

I was wondering if 8500 rpm was hard for my engine?! if you want to know my set-up just go to http://nofear99.monchar.com . Should I set the rev limit to 8200 rpm instead of 8500 rpm?? please notice that the car still push very strongly between 8000 and 8500. (my boost is constant at .90 BAR)

What was it tuned to? If Steve Kan did your tuning i'm sure he set the rev limit on the car? If he did why mess with it?

I have mine set for 8200 and when i took it to the dyno it starts to loose power in the mid 7000's so i dont see to much need to go above that point.

Cool

Steeve Kan had set the rev limits to 8400RPM but because the rpm drop so fast its hard to shift before 8000RPM at WOT. I checked on my power fc the maximum RPM I hitted and it show around 8300 and 8470 RPM. I means thats a lot but it sound so nice at that level...

Steve set my rev limiter at 8400 as well. But looking at my dyno data I get max torque at 5250 rpm and max horsepower at 6600 rpm. I think the best shift point is around 7500 rpm. However, I've not discussed this with Steve yet.
