I think our auto's can handle abot 350HP max. I would add an extra cooler and run synthetic oil for best results. Install 4.33 gears in the rear end and you will love how the auto responds.

I would swap it for a manual and be done with it. Why **** with a trans that can hold 350 when the manuals hold 600. No affence to you auto guys out there, just the swap isnt that hard and well the autos dont tend to last long.

ive had my auto at about 300whp for almost a year now and zero problems with the transmission. Wish I could afford a manual swap though.

Auto trannies can hold a boat of around 16-20 feet in length stable in a harbor. Longer than that and you might need another as well, provided the cable is strong enough.

(If you don't get it, you can use an auto for a boat anchor )

ill be happy with 300hp im not really shooting big, and plus im a big guy my legs almost touches the steering wheel and when i make right turns my legs is in the way so imgaine if i put 5spd in it. the auto tranny is quick its a dog at stop but ones 3500 hits the wastegate openes and its gone the original owner raced a lancer evo and toke him 3 car length.

Sometimes I wish my Fd was an auto. It would be nice to just floor it and go.
