Question What kind of wing will look good with C-WEST KIT?

Hey everyone,

I was just trying to get different opinions, and views, maybe even pictures on what kind of rear wing I should get with my C-West full kit. I dont really know if I like the C-west wing, it is a little big, in size and in price. But what wings will look good, knightsports, mazdaspeed type 2, mazdaspeed 15, etc, etc, etc.

Any good advice will be gratefully appreciated.

Get a Cusco or Signal wing. They have non CF, so it's a lot cheaper.

IMO, only GT wings look good in conjunction with the C-West kit. and the best looking GT wing, IMO, is the Veilside. ill post some pics after i do a quick little search.

Thank's so much, so the majority of you like that combination? I have a VR FD, but the VR is actually red and a new paint job, not pink like your fading VR's so that combination will go well?

I'm looking at the C-West 2002 cataloge and you know that they have a GT Wing I and GT Wing II as well as GT Aluminum wings I and II.

You pay for what you get....you kit wasn't cheap either unless it was a knock-off.

There is a big difference between APR wings and GT wings form C-West or Corvis or ARC. I've seen rust on many of the APR wings.

You have money to pay for a C-West kit, but you think the C-west kit expensive? You do have the money for the kit, right?

BTW, it's your car. You are the one have to live with it, not us here. Get what you like.

He probably is going for a copy of the C-West kit, not that I see anything wrong with that, but I am sure you guys do. But I agree even if you pay for a real C-West kit, 1800.00 for a wing is quite expensive... I would say if you have to just get the C-West kit without a wing and save up for the C-west wing over a year or so..

It's not about that black99. I already have the C-west REAL kit, but I am not sure of the wing. What would I rather do, spend 1800 on a wing or use that for my engine and have another wing that will look just as good or better, the c-west wing is a little too big.

I am just trying to figure it out because I have an install appt. at the end of the month at the bodyshop

Not that this will help you much with your decision, but I would either go with one of the GT style wings or no wing at all with the C-West kit.

Here's a pic of the Hammer Shark wing that C-West makes, I believe it comes with a carbon fiber center, and it looks good with the C-West kit I think..
