what kind of oil should i run

well i just got the 3rd gen after the street port. its running mazdaspeed twins which is the same as stock set up. it put down 328 to the wheels. now before i built the motor i was using 10w30 in both my 3rd gen and 2nd gen which is stock but i dont think that this would be the right thing so i need suggestions on the what kind of oil to use and whats the best brand. i dont care about money wise.

also i dont even know what kind of oil pressure im running because the guage is probably busted. on idle it sits at almost 0 and at full throttle goes up to about 60 cant tell exactly cause its the stock one i dont got an aftermarket one. also i dont know if it has to do with the tune but its tuned with a power fc. what are the regular psi for oil.

last question. my water temp quage reads abotu 80 after the car warms up and abotu 90 to a 96 when i do some inspired driving. is this normal.

thanks for all the help fellas. appreciate it.

if anyone is going to listen to Tim's advice, and take it seriously, they do not deserve an FD.

thanks for the advice fellas. well the serious ones.

and for the jokers out there, its aite i can take a joke. I might be new to the rx7 game but the 586 whp fully built civic that i had previously took some sick rx7 on the road before along with other serious cars.

once again appreciate all the help. im just trying to do the right thing here so i can keep this beuty on the road and not in the garage.

Any top name brand dino oil is fine man.

You're in NJ so i dont see a point for 20w50 unless you track the car or drive long in these summers.

I use castrol gtx 10w-30 all year round and its fine. Oil pressure is fine and always comes out clean and clear everytime i change my oil.

RX-8s don't have turbos and don't dilute the oil with fuel the way 13B-REWs do...
