Angry What have I done? Cooling fans unresponsive

Hey, I unhooked the black box known as the "Cooling fan update recall box" and turned the car on, then turned the car off, pluged it back in and now my fans will only run when I turn on the A/C, what the hell have I done now?

And what was the point of your experiment, if I might ask?

I'm a curious guy I suppose, actually I am trying to take that fan thing off, I bought my car a year and a half ago, and that damn thing has destroyed 3 batteries, two alternators, and everytime I go anywhere I have to take out the fan fuse everytime I turn off the car, I don't drive it often enough, and don't drive in that hot a temperatures to car about the mod.
and please don't just fry me cause I'm an idiot that I'm taking it off.

and it's not the relays, I've replaced them.

Also, to disconnect the box do I just unplug the two blue wiring harneses and plug them into each other to take the control module out of the works? thanks

I took the box completely out, (except two black and yellow wires leading into a somewhere inside the dash) and left the battery unhooked for fifteen minutes or so to let things reset, but still, Even after cruising the car around the block, the car never got super hot, but the fans will only run with the A/C on, and only the main fan will run, not the one under the battery. So then I plug the box back in and the same is still happenening. help!!
