Unhappy What goes here??? (Rats nest line)

Look at the picture, I just took off the cross over pipe and vacuum chamber to install a thermoswitch and found this!! No vacuum line connected to it or even a disconnected one that I could put back there! What is supposed to go there? Thanks a lot for your help.

no need to cap it its an open line. it was intended for use with the automatic cars.
