Mine are all steel. The hood, some of the suspension, a few braces on the bottom of the car and some under-hood parts are aluminum, but that is all.

The FD is made of or a dirivative of a silvery and ductile member of the poor metal group of chemical elements known to have the symbol of AI and atomic number 13.

Your FD is (insernt color here) not silver you say?

Well that's because it's been covered with a product known as paint that is used to protect an dadd color to an object or surface (in this case the AI) by covering it with a pigmented coating.

...should I continue?

Its Al (with and "L"), just to make it a little less confusing. But you should continue because it isn't made of much Al either.

When i used to smoke and didn't have a light i would ask my friends if they wanted me to light up with "hopes and dreams". It's an on going joke.

That's not so important. What is important is that all the parts with the paint are Fe and C.
