ive got an apexi gt spec exhaust and it is in fact full SS. you must have it confused with the apexi n1 which only has the canister in SS

I have the Borla dual that Pettit used to put on it's TKT cars. 2.5 inches but flows and sounds better than I thought it would. Changing over to Nur Spec this summer for auto X , See if I can extract a little more juice out of her.

I've had 4 exhaust's before picking my final one.

1st...Trust power Extreme II was very loud with midpipe and it sounded weird to me so I bought my...

2nd...A'Pexi N1 Dual which was even louder and way more annoying sounding, so I bought the...

3rd... which was the HKS Hiper Dragger, but FD Okinawa wanted it so I gave it to him and I bought...

4th which was the JIC BULLET exhaust. Simply has to be the best sounding exhaust on the market. VERY good sounding exhaust IMO....deep and throaty

Apexi N1 Dual

I have the Apexi N1 Dual and I like it. Especially in the underpass! Can be loud on the Freeway, not like I bought this thing for comfort.

Don't get too hung up on all SS construction. the exhaust manifold is not SS nor the main cat or the stock muffler. If you really are concerned about material issues, I think the Ti exhausts are lighter than SS.

A REALLY old (about as old as the FD) Borla CB. It was nice during it's time, but with only a 2.5" inlet and dual 2" outlets, it aint nice no more I'll be upgrading to a Borla with a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets soon.

How about $300 for an exhaust that looks like this, and flows as well as any of the others out there? I'm normally not one to care about the aesthetics of an exhaust (or any other performance part), but I was very impressed when I saw this piece considering the price.

HKS Hyper Carbon Fibre. Loudest between 2700 - 3100 RPM, but similar volume at idle to the stock muffler. We'll see what it sounds like when I get the downpipe and high flow cat installed.

Got any Pics?
It's full SS. It's pretty loud. At idle it's louder than cars with midpipes. There's a video in the West forum of my car on the dyno. It's #5.

Peter Farell SS Catback. I like it but can't find to many others that have it. It sounds good and has a nice rolled tip. Check it out at www.angelfire.com/de/fastcars/rx7.html

its a great exhaust.....its probably the loudest exhaust out there due to the 4" piping from the end of the DP back but I don't mind. It breaks the tires loose when the 2nd turbo comes on.
