Microwave some peanut butter and put it directly on the wax. It should get rid of it almost immediately. Seriously, it works.

I've always just used Q-tips to get to real pain in the **** places in my car. Or a pencil with a thin cloth over it, in a pinch. I've yet to encounter a place on the car where the Q-tip doesn't do the job.

Q-Tips and WD-40 works great at removing old unwanted wax.

What kinda wax do you use? Mine always scrapes off with a fingernail or knife. Which crease are you talking about?
